CSG news for South-East Queensland

May and June have been busy months for the AgForce Projects teams, with another round of CSG information sessions and computer mapping workshops in and around the SE Q region.

Computer mapping workshops were held in Beaudesert, Boonah, Kingaroy and Toogoolawah with over 40 landholders participating and learning new mapping skills that can be used as a property management tool as well as for use in negotiations with CSG or mining companies.

See the AgForce Projects website for upcoming workshops or submit an expression of interest form if there are no upcoming projects planned for your area.

CSG Information Sessions – Phase 2

AgForce Projects has a new round of CSG information sessions that will be rolled out from July 2012. This second phase of information sessions will build on the information we have already provided to over 1,900 landholders throughout Queensland. The focus of the phase 2 information sessions is to be more “hands on” and is specifically designed to assist you in your negotiations with a resource company.

Topics include:
• An update on CSG activities and legislative amendments across Queensland;
• Developing and using a tailored checklist to assess CSG impacts to your business;
• Identifying the benefits of a sound property plan and map for use in CCA negotiations; and
• Real world examples of information required when preparing to negotiate.

Upcoming dates for South East Queensland for Phase 2 are on our website.  You can register for these directly here or call 3238 6048.
